Ashleigh Holliday- Owner/Head Makeup Artist
Ashleigh has been a professional makeup artist for over 12 years. Her love of the art of makeup first began when she was in college working on theater shows and musicals. Eventually, Ashleigh branched out to work on films, weddings and photo shoots throughout New England. She had the pleasure during this time to be the professional makeup artist for the Miss Massachusetts Pageants and work on runway shows in Boston. Throughout the years , she has continued to grow and educate herself to stay ahead of the fast growing beauty industry. Ashleigh's work has been published in editorial and bridal magazines and she has received multiple awards for her makeup designs.
Ashleigh has always enjoyed helping others realize how naturally beautiful they are, simply by enhancing the features that they've already been blessed with. Because of this, she now offers professional beauty classes designed for the everyday woman of all ages so everyone can have the opportunity to learn helpful techniques and makeup designs like the professionals.
As a proud and busy mother of 2, Ashleigh has dedicated her time to growing her company and raising her children with the support of her loving husband. She truly believes if you have the drive and the passion to be successful in any aspect of your life, it can be done no matter the circumstances. Never underestimate a woman with a dream.
Abby Moscaritolo/ Makeup Artist
Abby graduated from ECSU with a communication degree but soon realized that her passion did not belong in that field. Instead, she knew her heart and talent belonged in a different career which brought her to the beauty industry. Abby originally wanted to learn the business and the public relations aspects of makeup but soon realized after working 2 years at Sephora, she absolutely loved the artistry aspect more then the business side and became a professional makeup artist.
To further her education in the beauty industry, Abby enrolled in the cosmetology program at Toni & Guy where she graduated in 2018. Although makeup is her first passion, she wanted to be well rounded in all areas of beauty.
Now with over 3 years experience, Abby specializes in Weddings creating flawless bridal looks for her many clients and also creates makeup looks for all to see on her beauty channel on YouTube.
Jena Couto/ Hairstylist
Jena has been a professional hairstylists for 12 years. She attended and graduated from Rob Roy Academy in 2008 and since then, continues to grow in her career. Her passion for becoming a stylists started early on in her childhood, when she realized then that this would be the path for her.
Jena first feel in love with the bridal industry while working backstage on her first runway show at the Grand Wedding Expo from 2012-2016. In 2016, she had the pleasure of working at two backstage shows for the Style Week fashion shows in Providence. Ever since the runway experiences, being a hairstylist became more then just a "gig" or job, it became a career!
Now specializing in bridal, Jena believes that being a part of a bride's wedding day is extremely special, unique, fun and exciting! Her goal on every wedding is to make everyone feel comfortable and beautiful by enhancing all their natural beauty.
One day Jena dreams of gracing the cover of a bridal magazine for a celebrities wedding day!
Heather Butterworth/ Hairstylist
Heather has been a professional hairstylist in the beauty industry for the past 14 years. Her passion and drive for the industry grows ever year. She has been awarded Top 30 under 30 Colorists, North America Colorist Magazine, 2016 and in 2018, Heather was awarded the Top Inspiring Beauty Educators in BeautyLaunch Pad Magazine. Along with being published, she is also a featured content provider for BeautyLaunch Pad, Colorist Magazine, Modern Salon, Bella Bridal, Choice Magazine, and is an Artist on the Go Ambassador. Heather currently holds position as a National Artistic Educator for Affinage Salon Professional, North America.
Beyond being an acclaimed colorist and educator, her other passion is bridal styling. Heather has traveled to numerous states doing styling for Ms. Mrs. and Miss Teen America Pagents in the early years in her career. Since then, she has honed in her craft and truly enjoys being part of someone's "big day".
In addition, Heather has worked numerous runway shows, photo shoots, stage shows and academy classes for styling. Her attention to detail and professionalism makes her a frequent request for brides throughout Ct, Ma and RI areas. Heather's ultimate goal in all aspects of her career is building a relationship with whoever she is working with so that the guests comfort is at the forefront.
Courtney Burke/ Hairstylist
Courtney has been in the beauty industry for 6 years. She graduated from Marinello School of Beauty and immediantly started working full time shortly after graduating. Her cliental ranges from color to cuts and of course bridal!
Before deciding to become a professional hairstylist, Courtney attended technical high school to become a nurse and quickly realized that was not her passion. She decided to change career paths after watching YouTube videos falling in love with art of makeup and hair design. She started practicing her craft braiding hair for all the basketball and volleyball players she knew, while attending school and word soon got out of her talent. Before she knew it, Courtney was being hired to do hair for Proms and right before attending Cosmetology school, she had the honor of doing her very first Wedding.
Courtney loves working on bridal, especially since that's what really sparked her interest in the early stages of her career. She believes there's something so special about the moments before the wedding making the bride feel her absolute best, is an honor to be a part of that.
Samantha Gunderson- Makeup Artist/ Hairstylist
Samantha has been in the beauty industry for 15 years. Originally from Southern California, Samantha found her passion for hair and makeup artistry early on.
Samantha began her career in the beauty industry as a makeup artist for MAC and Aveda. She has been fortunate to work with various photographers and have ability to showcase her skills on Runway Shows and Photo Shoots. He.r passion for being a makeup artist doesn't stop there, she truly loves working with brides on their special days.
Aside from being a professional makeup artist, Samantha is also a professional hairstylist. She is a color educator from Framesi North America and has trained at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica. Samantha specializes in color and has honed her craft for styling over the years. Some of her work has been published in various magazines and styling books. Samantha loves creating up-do's as well as glamorous retro waves and beautiful down styles.
When Samantha works on weddings, she get the opportunity to explore both of her passions in the beauty industry Whether it is creating a beautiful makeup look or an incredible bridal hairstyle, . She feels extremely honored to be able to participate on a bride's "big day".
Shayna Cook- Hairstylist/Master Barber
Shayna has been a professional hairstylist for 16 years. With a two year apprenticeship and a master barber's license under her belt, Shayna is able to accommodate all of her clients from men to women.
Shayna's passion for the beauty industry grew from an early age. You could always see her doing hair and makeup which came naturally. Being more of a "hands on" learner helped make the decision of becoming a professional hairstylist the most perfect fit.
For many years, Shayna has been working in a thriving Salon with clients that she absolutely adores. There she has the ability to continue to educate herself with the ever growing industry, learning new color lines, techniques and hair designs. Along with working in a salon setting, Shayna enjoys traveling on location to create stunning hairstyles for brides on their wedding day. Nothing feels greater then having the power to help someone look and feel their absolute best. And with the experience of being a barber, Shayna has the ability to take care of the whole wedding party including the men.
Shayna's goals in the future would be to own her own salon but in the meantime, she continues to do what she loves and she feels blessed to have found her passion early on in life. "It isn't work when you love it."
Rhaya Winsky- Hairstylist
Rhaya has been a professional hairstylist for the past 9 years. While attending High School at the Bay Path Vocational Technical School, she was able to for fill her dreams of becoming a hairstylist and received her cosmetology license while attending.
Rhaya's passion for becoming a hairstylist started at a very early age when her Mimi would style and braid her hair, while she braided her own dolls hair at the same time. It's because of these wonderful moments with her Mimi that she knew exactly what her career would be one day.
Throughout her career, Rhaya has had the opportunity to educate herself in hair design and currently works in two salons with clients she adores. Although she enjoys the salon setting, her passion is in bridal. Words cannot describe how much she absolutely loves working on weddings and personally feels it is the highest honor in the hair industry.
Rhaya enjoys working on weddings so much that her career goal is to eventually work exclusively on weddings and become a traveling bridal specialist.
Michelle Marcoux- Makeup Artist
Michelle has been a professional makeup artist and hairstylist for over 10 years. She has enjoyed every moment of her career since it first began at Paul Mitchell School of Cosmetology in 2007.
Michelle new at a very early age that a career in the beauty industry was exactly where she wanted to be. She put in a lot of time, education and passion into becoming successful in her career.
Although she works full time in a hair salon as a stylists, she loves working on weddings, proms and special occasions because it gives her the opportunity to bring out her creative side as a professional makeup artist. Makeup design was and continues to be her first passion ever since she was a child.
Michelle's career goal is simple, she wants to make everyone who sits her her chair feel cared for, pampered and help boost their beauty confidence. If they feel beautiful and confident when they leave her chair, she feels she has done her job to her full potential. It's always about the client.
Krista Makowski- Makeup Artist
Krista has been a professional makeup artist for over 10 years, and accredited by Clinique as well as Laura Mercier. Krista spent 5 years working at cosmetic counters as a business manger and an artistry trainer.
Besides being a pro makeup artist, another unique credential she holds is being certified in ophthalmic eye care and eye surgery. This provides a clinical background to the safety of eyes in a way that most makeup artists do not have knowledge of.
Makeup artistry has always been a passion for Krista, and she has made sure that she has the experience/education in all styles of makeup to fulfill all of her clients/brides needs. Specializing in bridal makeup, natural traditional makeup, glamour editorial, proper lash application, and the knowledge of products for her sensitive skin clients. Krista also loves offering makeup classes so she can educate the everyday woman to learn how to properly apply makeup with product knowledge.
When Krista isn't working on weddings or photo shoots, she is at home enjoying being a new mother to her baby boy who was born in 2020.
Sara Thompson- Makeup Artist
Sara has been a professional makeup artist for 10 years, and attended the cosmetology school Marinello School of Beauty, where she completed makeup courses, and eventually ended up teaching at the Willimantic CT location. Throughout the years, she continued to educate herself with attending makeup courses in New York City through the Powder Group and The Makeup Show to stay ahead of the evolving beauty industry.
There are many rewarding factors to being a makeup artist in Sara's eyes, one of them being that it allows her to install confidence in her clients whenever she has the opportunity to work on them. Plus, being a makeup artist, it is a fantastic creative outlet that allows Sara to create all different styles of makeup whether it's working on bridal or editorial photo shoots.
Sara's passion is to help as many people as possible look and feel beautiful while showcasing the power of makeup, and how it is able to transform and inspire!
Lindsay Supple / Owner of Sunless Tanning
Lindsay is a JWU graduate with a bachelors degree in Sport’s Management which she parlayed into a successful career as a high school basketball coach for over 15 years. Lindsay always had a passion for cosmetology as well as skincare and had considered a career transition before realizing that what she truly wanted to do was help her clients feel their best with a natural looking glow without the damaging affects of the sun or sun beds.
In 2016, she made that dream a reality after months of research and finding the right product for her, Aviva Labs. She was then certified as an Aviva Labs sunless tanning professional in October of 2017 and has been developing her business since. Aviva Labs is an all natural, organic, hypoallergenic, water based product that is perfect for all skin types and tones with colors ranging from a slight winter glow to a deep golden bronze. Lindsay customizes each and every session to her clients and offers full body as well as partial body services. In addition to sunless tanning she also offers a full range of exfoliants and skin care products.
